The movie will be COURAGEOUS, a Christian movie which has been shown
in theaters across the country. Young
children will be offered a separate movie to watch at the same time. Plan to come for an evening of food, fun and
movies for all!

NEWS AND NOTES
SHOWER PLANNING at the church this Wednesday,
February 8, 7:30 p.m., for any ladies interested in
helping with a wedding shower for Shannon and Joe Ferguson, and baby showers
for Bailey Peters, Tony and Kayla James, and Alex and
Summer Parsons.
NEW CHURCH OFFICERS and continuing officers are
encouraged each year to review the job descriptions for their roles which are
printed in the annual report book on pages 40-45.
JACOB TRAHERN, Dick and Barbara Trahern’s
grandson received the Eagle Scout Award yesterday. Congratulations!
BARITONE SINGER ANTHONY BROWN will present I Go On Singing,
a tribute to all-American athlete and scholar Paul Robeson in honor of Black
History Month. The mult-media
presentation will be held on February 21, 7:30 p.m., at Wichita’s Orpheum
Theater. Tickets are $15. Call 316-755-7328.
